CardScore Privacy Policy

CardScore is an offline scorekeeping companion for in-person card games. It does not accept wagers, hold funds, facilitate real-money payments, or provide gambling services. This Privacy Policy explains how Codep (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use CardScore.

Information we process

• Offline scoreboards. Player names, game types, rules, scores, and game history that you create for offline games are stored on your device.
• Feedback. If you submit feedback, we process the message and any contact detail you choose to include.

Device permissions

CardScore does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, phone, storage, or other device permissions. The app works entirely on your device for scorekeeping.

How we use information

We use the information above to operate local scoreboards and respond to feedback. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

Where information is stored and shared

Scoreboards remain on your device. Feedback that you choose to submit is processed by our service infrastructure in Hong Kong. We disclose information only to service providers that operate the feedback service on our behalf, when required by law, or when necessary to protect users, the service, or the public.

Retention and your choices

You can delete local games from the app. Deleting the app may remove locally stored scoreboards, subject to your device backup settings. To request access, correction, or deletion of feedback data, contact us at the address below. We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Security

We use HTTPS for communications with our service and apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

CardScore is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
